World War We

Even as the dangerously pathetic Obama administration and its ever so liberal associates continued to plot, by hook or by crook, the importation of thousands more Syrian Muslim "refugees" into the U.S., a select few among what Obama himself initially called the ISIS "JV squad" -- an absurd term that this cheapened, clueless tyrant will own forever -- were kicking ass and murdering in Paris and beyond.  And when Obama stepped briefly before the TV cameras shortly after the chaos began, he couldn't bring himself to so much as hint at who was likely responsible, as in the words, Islamic terrorists.  However, as usual, we knew and the rest of the world damned well knew, too.  No, those behind this well-planned strike were not nuns, nor deniers of man-made climate change, nor animal rescue workers, and not wild-eyed vegetarians  -- they were extremist Muslims. nothing more and nothing less.  And at least one terrorist carried a Syrian passport.  A "refugee." Oopsie.  Obama's declaration during an interview by George Stephanapoulis on ABC-TV, broadcast earlier in the day before the Paris attack, that ISIS was somehow "contained" in specific areas served only to emphasize thought processes sadly lacking as they bounce off rubberized White House walls.  By the time Monday rolled around and Obama felt pressed to say a few words before attending the G-Joke Summit, he came off as a bitter, self-important fool.  Not that we're talking about anything new here.

Great humanitarians, these liberal folks.  Radicalized Muslim youth just need employment opportunities, it's poverty that drives them.  As if.   No, the real issue is their need to achieve world Islamic domination with the planet's highest mosques and by killing everybody who refuses to drink in their established madness.  It's not compassion they seek, it's Caliphate. Period.

Taking full advantage of the kindness of strangers, Muslim refugees currently strangle Europe with a slow dance of death targeting Western European culture, and they've already entered the United States with intentions and backgrounds we can't possibly detect.  The Democrats will not back off intentions to continue saturating the United States with Islam's followers whose minds we cannot possibly know.  Particularly disturbing about the influx is that radical Islam's worst will not evidence itself immediately.  It takes time to infiltrate a society properly.

Tick, tick, tick. . .Can't we just imagine Obama watching the clock, hoping his term expires before thousands of American troops need to be re-deployed to the Middle East to deal with ISIS?  Just wait, this genius of the intellect, who, with Hillary Clinton's handiwork in the mix, helped engineer the very Arab Spring evil which produced ISIS, will do everything he can to dump this pandemonium on the next president -- and with the help of his always-willing media, Obama will walk away with clean dirty hands.

We watch college and university students protesting their respective in-house leadership factions, thinking they can bully their way into some nebulous universe of change.  But their real enemies are the ultra-lib professors and far-leftist activists infectiously pushing them over a cliff from which there may be no climbing back, once the radically inspired practitioners of death come a' calling, accompanied by the only textbook they have ever required throughout centuries of darkness.  Do we call this World War III or World War We, a social media-encompassing war from which no human society on Earth is immune?  Do we suppose, just days after the Paris attacks, that liberal extremist university professors and their either brain-scrubbed or brain-dead students have any greater appreciation now for U.S. military and law enforcement personnel?  Of course not, and that's because they're intellectually special -- they understand the plight of the Islamic extremists and their need to, um, express themselves  --  and they can't possibly conceive of their own disembodied heads rolling merrily along campus sidewalks in the end.

Maybe one day Hollywood will produce a motion picture entitled, The JV Squad, but it will concern sports, not government, and expect Barack Obama to be portrayed as the hapless coach who can't accept that his team of Syrian refugee synchronized swimmers just isn't good enough to go far, until they suddenly surprise him with a splash felt around the world.

By the way, there's still time  for Mr. Obama to produce his ghostly college grades, which we've never seen.  It's pretty difficult to accept his superior intellect and constitutional expertise without something more substantial than his use of long sentences and arrogant bluster.

Meanwhile, V-P Joseph Biden travels the college circuit, lecturing -- shouting -- about rape on campus, seemingly directing his verbal blows at everybody unfortunate enough to be equipped with a penis.  Because rape hysteria has apparently been more than overblown by those who traffic in scare statistics for their own means and ends, it's far more than peculiar and distressing that Biden and the administration find it necessary to accuse and berate young men in mass audience settings -- and one would suspect that much of this is whipped up by radical feminists and the ladies of the White House and Senate who remain undeterred by facts and encouraged by political hearsay.  Perhaps vice-commander Biden would care to address how male Muslim "refugees" storming Europe -- and coming to America, thanks to his good buddy, the prez --  are already treating nurses and other women they encounter as something less than insects?  It's all coming to the USA, folks, special delivery courtesy of our culpable  president, who peculiarly appears to favor Islamic refugees over Christian refugees any day of the week.

George Will has uttered some interesting thoughts regarding young Americans, curious that apparent societal and parental actions have produced human "snowflakes," children and young adults of tender emotions, incapable of tolerating controversy and paper-thin regarding their own beliefs.  Don't bother them with the facts.  A disturbing preference among this clueless group apparently favors freedom from speech, rather than freedom of speech, a display which concerns and puzzles Will and others.  Of course, this is exactly the kind of young man or woman the left craves, always obedient to the master politic and unquestioning of usurping authorities, and absolutely intolerant of the opinions or truth laid out by others of differing opinions.  They cry, they stomp their feet, they scream to drown out any voices but their own, and they are self-deporting themselves into a form of slavery from which there will be no escape.

The Big Question?  Speculation has long endured about whether there can actually be enough jobs for all the people seeking work, but because recent conversations apparently revolve around the possibility that robots may eventually consume up to 50 percent of employment, won't that, by necessity, leave unemployed/unemployable Islamic refugees and illegal immigrants in a terrible situation which makes societal danger even more likely?  Idle hands, etc.

Free hint:  Hillary Clinton,  either as president, queen or object of infatuation in a termite colony will only be Obama on steroids.  Anybody intent upon voting for this tried and proven leadership disaster simply doesn't know or doesn't care about her record.  Next election, we only have one opportunity to get it right, and the solution is not the coronation of a clueless vision entertained by a Jurassic Era dinosaur queen.

Ted Cruz for Attorney General!  We're almost willing to bet that if he achieved such an appointment in the next administration (if not president himself) a very lengthy list of deserved and successful prosecutions would take place, especially among beltway folks who have "served" the country into near disaster.

Saturday night socialism's three-for-one event on CBS-TV  was a debate to yawn for.   While Bernie, Martin and Hillary collectively mused about tightening gun control in the USA, we wondered how many of the dead in Paris would still be with us, had the whole city not been a gun-free zone.   Aside from the usual tirade, the only thing the Democrats can offer is the same old song -- spend, tax more and, perhaps most important, chip away at restricting the power of the people in small, seemingly routine doses of legislation.  Strange how the Saturday night lefties, like Obama, can't manage to say the words, Islamic terrorists.   Their excuses for not doing so chill common sense to the bone.  When Bernie Sanders blamed (the established religion of) climate change for the world's ills, failing to consider there are scientists on both sides of this issue, it's amazing that the nation's televisions and the heads tuned to them didn't explode.

Immigration overreach on hold:   Two district courts have told the president no-no regarding his sleazy attempts at essentially creating and initiating his own immigration legislation -- a maneuver absolutely forbidden by the Constitution.  Then again, now that Mr. Obama is throwing everything into the Supreme Court's jack-in-the-box for an ultimate decision, we hardly know what to anticipate.  I'm not exactly for trusting anything coming down from Chief Justice Roberts, since his nonsensical Affordable Care Act decision set the course for medical insurance, deductibles and co-pays that few can comfortably afford.  However, should Obama lose this round, as he richly deserves, and millions of potential Democrat voters need to leave the country, self-deportation should be an immensely effective method, when employers who knowingly hire illegal people are fined and jailed, thus causing folks who shouldn't be here to pack up and return to their countries.  We're hardly just picking on Mexico here, for Mexicans have lots of border invasion company from all around the globe.

Who's Got Your Back vs. a Knife in the Back

Before Nazis imprisoned Denmark's King Christian X (d. 1947) for disobeying anti-Jewish legislation, as World War II's horrors marched forward, the ruler is reported to have immortalized himself with an aura of courage.  One day, as Hitler's military occupied Denmark, the Danish ruler observed a Nazi flag flying over a public building.  At once, he contacted a German official, demanding removal of the vile object.  Refusing, of course, to take the flag down, the official was advised by King Christian that one of his own soldiers would be ordered to remove it.  "He will be shot," the angered Nazi commander warned.

"I think not," the king responded, "for I shall be the soldier."  Immediately, the flag was removed.

* * * * *

So years have passed, and today I wonder -- would President Obama demand the same, were an ISIS flag displayed high atop the White House?  ISIS, the insignificant "JV" team he dismissed mere months ago?

Veterans Day will quickly come and go this week, observed by true Americans who honor a country's greatness, determined in large part by the sacrifice of those in uniform, past and currently.

Unfortunately, a disturbing number of others who do little more than occupy the USA with a measure of freedom, thanks to those in uniform who died and suffered, couldn't care less -- if they even know what Veterans Day represents, other than its annual appearance as some nebulous government holiday.

Last year, I spoke with a young man poised to join the military as soon as he could lose a few pounds.  When I started an anti-Obama rant, something almost second nature to me every day now, he raised an index finger and reminded me that this president is still the Commander-in-Chief and must be respected while in Office.  I guess he's right.  Well, at least respect the Office.  Beyond that, I see only an empty suit reposing in Clint Eastwood's empty Obama stage chair (remember that simple, yet profound act of utter brilliance?).

As the political season erupts in full force and the preciously rational among us almost beg for somebody, almost anybody not named Hillary or Bernie as the next president, let's remember why we're even able to live in a country where -- yes, except for that damned Electoral College -- a vote counts for something.  It's all courtesy of those who served honorably in the military.  In a nation manipulated all too frequently by phony power-mad bastards at both political and corporate levels, what a rare and wonderful gem is the man or woman who believes and engages in the frequently dangerous pursuit of something true and freedom everlasting.  Denmark's King Christian X apparently understood this concept.  King Obama?  Maybe not so much.

Of Libraries with One Book and Lives with One Purpose

Like invaders they come, for invaders they are, arriving by the tens and hundreds of thousands, and as casual observers watch Syrian "refugees" and others cascading into Europe, a most curious revelation surfaces -- that most are young and middle-aged men of military age, their numbers far surpassing lines of women and children.  The case might be made that this chaotic event, seemingly without end, is but one more fragment of the Arab Spring disastrously engineered via the efforts of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.  Meanwhile, Russia's Putin means business and his military has reportedly killed so many ISIS monsters that hundreds of thousands of other Syrians feel safe enough to return to their shattered country.

And still the refugees journey, to Europe and then to the United States -- mostly young males who crash borders unaccompanied, eventually to be instructed by natural processes to engage in sexual relations with young women -- young women of the nations they invade.  Your daughters, your sisters, your girlfriends, maybe your wives.  To them, all women are less than cattle.  Border whisperings of rape surface regularly as a multitude of other crimes occur amidst hellish chaos.  When will N.O.W. and other women's organizations take up a protest?  Or wouldn't that be politically correct?  Will nobody hold the Obama bunch responsible for a hefty chunk of this human madness?  Will no members of Congress tell this president hell no, we aren't bringing another 200,000-plus of these folks into the USA?  We the people attempted to convince Congress to defund this insane plan, but rationality failed once again in D.C.

So, they, the Islamists who have only and always lived their lives through one book -- the Koran -- are destined to infest Europe and the United States, minds militarized and poisoned with a philosophy dictating  that there is but one deity who commands that its people are the absolute best of everything human, and it is their destiny in a shared god-driven arrogance to convert or kill everybody whose beliefs, religious or otherwise, conflict with theirs.  And they will come for your women, as self-reproduction is one bit of magic apparently not passed on via their great god of ooga-booga.  We may laugh, but they do not joke around.  Merely "respecting" their religion will not suffice, for by mounting birth numbers alone they eventually stand to demolish Christian, Jewish and all other houses of worship, as they educate their children to hate everybody expressing differences.  By stealth they conquer, even if lies are essential to produce the result.   Expect no national or cultural assimilation as the hive grows, a hive capable and willing to take Western civilization down and transport what remains back to ancient centuries.  One book and one mind shared among many, these are the only requirements for success.

Hillary Clinton's little treasure chest of lies was pried open significantly during her appearance before the Benghazi committee, though one could hardly expect the Go-Hillary-Go media to exemplify the importance of a major falsehood regarding the time frame.  The night of the Benghazi massacre, Hillary Clinton messaged her daughter that Al-Qaeda types seemed to be involved -- yet, for a week after that she and other Obama bunch minions insisted the bloody incident was caused by a video on the Internet.  This bunch obviously knew the truth right away, but, as some have suggested on more than one occasion, a new Obama re-election date was closing in, and he wanted to maintain the fallacy that there were no more terrorists in order to pave a less-bumpy road come Election Day.  Yeah, Hil-liar-y for prez, and can you feel the excitement brewing right now in the Electoral College (the only vote that counts. . .)?

How to keep students safe in the classroom?   Well, we doubt anybody will be removing those gun-free zone signs anytime soon, nor is it likely that high-schooler Mike or freshman college student Cathy will receive permission to pack heat during their daily classroom exposure.  Out of such exasperation, may we suggest instead tranquilizer guns?  Yes, simply provide every student and faculty member a tranquilizing weapon and, should the occasion arise where a well-armed shooter enters the room, multiple discharges should solve the problem.  Bonus?  If students accidentally shoot each other with tranquilizers during the excitement, in most instances nobody will notice the difference between their merely sleeping in class or assuming the posture characteristically assumed in modern institutions of alleged learning.  Still, should the very thought of any kind of gun evidenced in the classroom be abhorrent, one can always substitute hypodermic needles prepared with sleeping agents, thus "arming" many students with the sort of equipment with which they are already familiar.  Dismiss these ideas and we're left with what, blow darts?  Okay, maybe I'm not quite serious here. . .

Quentin Tarantino and other Hollywood geniuses:  Tarantino calls cops "murderers."  Hmm -- a man who makes some of the most vile movies out there, films packaged as entertainment and probably more than slightly influential for certain viewers.  No matter he, but what seems true is that the Hollywood socialist crowd is "coming out" in leaps and bounds, condemning everything good about a country which gave them every opportunity to be something other than the shameful progressive whores they will be until the day they die.

Antarctic ice is on the increase, according to new data.  Nevertheless, watch our pathetic, truth-stabbing president keep all the fantasies of climate change on his wicked agenda, particularly as he meets with international United Nations criminals to forge an expensive climate plan set to benefit all the wrong people for all the wrong reasons.  Meanwhile, O gets us boots on the ground in Syria, helping shore up once again the most vapid yet evil presidency in American history (history -- that thing nobody wants to teach anymore).

Bill Gates embraces socialism as a solution?   Wow.  Read all about it elsewhere.  Well, as we indicated time and again, they're all coming out of the woodwork now, unafraid and sometimes un-American.  Strange how folks who benefit the most from capitalism and its love for creativity become bent upon trashing the whole system.  Be careful who you choose as heroes, for they may be far divergent from initial impressions.

Hey U.S. Army -- next time a blimp gets away from you, maybe consider attaching a few tort lawyers underneath for ballast, but concurrently add more, much more, helium.  Frankly, the whole country would be better off with fewer tort lawyers and more helium.  An inert gas vs. inert gasbags, your choice.

That Early Halloween in Pascagoula

The day the squirrel went berserk
                                                              In the First Self-Righteous Church
In that sleepy little town of Pascagoula
It was a fight for survival that broke out in revival
They were jumpin' pews and shouting, "Hallelujah!"*

(*From Ray Stevens' song, "The Great Mississippi Squirrel Revival," music and lyrics by Carlene Kalb)

The 11th day of October marked 42 years (1973) since something amazing is alleged to have occurred near a riverbank in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The great musical artist and comedian Ray Stevens once recorded a funny song about a squirrel on the loose in a Pascagoula church, but we doubt he ever envisioned a UFO abduction on the banks of the Pascagoula River.

Reports of temporary abductions by UFO occupants have long been accepted with skepticism among some inhabitants of the cautious and deeply contemplative parts of the UFO research community, and various theories have popped up which continue to fail in explaining the overall force behind or implications of the phenomenon.  The first time the American public was confronted with the serious side of the issue via mass media occurred when the late John G. Fuller produced his book, The Interrupted Journey,  extensive portions of which were serialized in a newsstand magazine.  Exploring in depth the alleged sixties UFO close encounter and physical examination of Barney and Betty Hill by presumed aliens, Fuller's book proved a sensation, and the man and woman on the street became profoundly intrigued by the possibility that we-are-not-alone right here on Earth (an early TV movie about the Hill case also appeared, and another is currently in production).

Of all the abduction reports I've read about over the years, a particularly absurd tale from Mississippi -- at first glance -- is THE one that leaves me wondering all the more.  Now, usually I try to do a special blog on Halloween for reasons of which there are no reasons, but I think the alleged UFO abduction of (the late) Charles Hickson and his younger friend Calvin Parker in Pascagoula deserves the telling, over and over again.

We touched upon this incident in almost a dozen blog entries during past years (a  Pascagoula Google search at the top of this page will collate them nicely for you, all on one page).   However, new details emerged, thanks to an article by reporter Natalie Chambers in later years, and it seems quite possible that a car full of U.S. Navy personnel literally observed a strange-looking aircraft glide into the area of claimed abduction at the time it supposedly occurred.  Chambers' fascinating piece no longer seems to appear on the Internet, where it resided for a few years, but I referenced it more completely than I had previously in a blog entry regarding the incident entitled, The Extraordinary Witness (see link at end).

Further, a newspaper interview with Calvin Parker of recent vintage currently remains on the Internet at: http://blog.gulflive.com/mississippi-press-news/2013/10/calvin_bryant_tells_his_story.html

If true, the Pascagoula encounter's significance cannot be underestimated, and keep in mind that officials and other investigators who spoke with the men were impressed with their honesty, clarity and evident fear.  Unfortunately, perhaps because Hickson and Parker's description of the robot-like entities which terrified them looked TOO otherworldly, some folks were all too willing to write this event off.  But the surfacing of revelations about additional witnesses -- Navy personnel and their names, as documented by reporter Natalie Chambers -- adds an intriguing level of  credibility.

So happy Halloween,  and you, too, may agree that the disturbing report of Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker fares way better than a plain old Halloween ghost story.  If you’ve not read our entry, The Extraordinary Witness,  you can find it right here:  http://robert-barrow.blogspot.com/2008/12/extraordinary-witness.html
