Texas Knows How

Having once resided in Texas for almost three years, I sometimes thought of returning permanently, but time marches on, and surely renders everything one remembers into images unrecognizable, and some perhaps foreboding.

Still, if there's any place left in America where freedom means free, it's Texas.  I'm not wrapping the flag around me today, but I do briefly want to say, with no reservations whatsoever -- way to go, Garland, Texas!  Man oh man, you folks know how to treat the jihad boys, and I offer sincere thanks for ending within seconds the lives of two more throwback Muslim extremist jerk-offs -- they of primitive minds, determined to mess up a free speech contest in which $10,000 was the award for the best artwork depicting violent historical radical rascal Mohammad. 

While I long to view all the contest entries, we have heard that some on social media networks have proclaimed that the best artwork turned out to be the chalk lines drawn following judgment in the parking lot.

Some say the contest was unfair to the religion of Islam, an exercise in blasphemy.  I'm not so sure about that -- kinda seems that hopped-up Muslim savages beheading Christians and destroying their villages demonstrates a tad bit of desecration, too, yes?  Keep the cartoons coming.

Also -- how does Allah know that these two jihad joy boys weren't actually in attendance to draw their own cartoons?  Events were awfully confusing for a few minutes, and perhaps intentions were mistaken.  Maybe there will be no afterlife virgins in the cupboard for that pair of loyal nothings.

Frankly, I think the money should go to the traffic cop who single-handedly put their lights out without a second thought -- with a handgun -- after these model citizens began shooting with their sophisticated fire power.  A little judicious Texas "hospitality," administered through common sense, can be a very good thing. 

NOT a very good thing, however,  is pretty much everything going on in Baltimore, and the blame lies first with the usual suspects, extreme leftist Democrats and anarchists running a great American city into the ground.  Again and again, the pattern repeats, as it is likely to do in the months ahead.  You've already read tons about the moronic public officials running around Baltimore, from the mayor to the state prosecutor, so I won't belabor what's out there.  The main point -- if and when the time comes when voters develop brains and vote for people who will actually do something constructive instead of ripping off or ruining their communities, that's when optimism will blossom.  Me, I foolishly hold on to the slim possibility that the day will come when elected officials of integrity will hold those who preceded them responsible for a litany of ills-- and trials, fines and lengthy prison sentences can at last engulf the guilty.

Hey, congratulations to Great Britain on the new princess -- and if extremist Muslims continue to conquer England, I must say, in a few years she's going to look absolutely fetching in the burka covering her from head to toe, as she weds and slaves for some Middle Eastern royal whose long beard complements a forest of yak hair sprouting from his back.

Far from prominent attorney and, at least momentarily, CNN talking head Chris Cuomo is deservedly taking barbs for his apparent endorsement of the First Amendment's non-existent section regarding "hate speech."  Thing is, if you take both attorney Cuomo and his megalomaniac brother Andrew, the governor of NY, who maintains his position only because NY City morons continue to vote for him (as well as for the most corrupt state legislature in the nation), one discovers that, not only do two wrongs not make a right -- two twits don't make a wit, unless one really means nitwit.   We hope the day isn't far off when practical folks will throw the Cuomo brothers out with the Clintons and other Dems of particular repute.

Meanwhile, the Obama bunch continues to screw us all, unleashing the revamped Justice Dept. on police officer integrity everywhere, yet treating Iran like our best buddy.  Yes, I am way, way past impeachment for this president -- the word of the day is  indictment.   Maybe someday, after this bunch has had its fun.  Marxists have such a sense of duty, you know?

Further evidence that we're so screwed:   Occupying a terribly large space among mainstream media practitioners this week were stories about (1) a return to that idiotic deflated football caper and (2) two men who boxed themselves into riches of several millions dollars each, indicating that sometimes it still pays handsomely to beat the crap out of somebody, even when the floor show isn't all that great.

Those "alien" slides unveiled in Mexico:   As we suspected, along with others, there may not be a there there, but it was fun waiting, wasn't it?   Kinda makes you want to sit ringside and watch two guys beat the crap out of each other with deflated footballs.

Sink or Swim

Europe is in the process of killing itself with kindness, much like the United States,  and it's all happening because Muslim refugees by the thousands are steadily arriving from North Africa (particularly from Libya) by way of the Mediterranean Sea as they flee extremist Muslim elements.

Trouble is, even these huddled masses are arriving ready-made to administer the wrath of  barbaric religious teachings which, like other faiths,  should have  undergone a reformation hundreds of years ago.  The fact that it did not proves only that the majority of Islam's followers around the world remain ignorant and self-perpetuating through the teachings of lies and hatred.

As shown on  Sixty Minutes (CBS-TV) Sunday (4/26), the Italian Coast Guard has become a 24/7 rescue mission for refugees abandoning Libya as ISIS and other radicals move in, and these folks by the endless thousands are pouring into Europe, almost certain to change and even destroy European society for the worst.  To say this requires no brain surgery, for one need only look at documented instances of Muslims departing North Africa on overloaded boats insistent upon throwing Christians overboard to their deaths.

That's what's coming to a country near you, and, indeed, to our country:   Koran-believing, uneducated, unskilled extremists with no tolerance for any religion but their own twisted exercise in wiping out those of any faith which is not Islam.  Convert or kill, there is no third choice, ultimately.

So -- you think Europe and our accommodating prez won't collaborate and brings a lot more of "them" to our own country, even as we willingly import or blindly allow entry to more Islamic dangers than we can already handle?  The welfare spigot has opened full-force, draining the reserves.

President Obama and his clueless and/or stupid White House flock seem especially tolerant of the Islamic evils crossing global borders, and one suspects that perhaps they equivocate or legitimately feel that mixing extreme practitioners of Islam with Christians is like introducing Africanized bees to more moderate bee hives, in hope that eventually bug-eyed anger will somehow be tempered into contentment for all.  Pssst -- hey buddy, got news for you:  If they're throwing Christians off the boat in the Mediterranean, they have a long-term plan to throw European and American Christians -- and just Americans -- "under the bus,"  no matter how long it takes.  And that's just for starters, because no other belief system will be tolerated, either, and after these maniacs destroy Israel, they'll finish up with America.  Far-fetched?   No, not when we look around at our own uninformed, uncaring clumps of humanity, living only for televised hypnosis, lies and purposeful exclusions, all prettied up like a metropolitan tart.  Who is watching the national melting pot as it  boils over?

There is no room ever in the USA for Sharia Law.  Not ever.  Islamic law is incompatible with the Constitution of the United States.  Sorry, but the U.S. needs to monitor each and every mosque in this country because each has the capacity and ability to weave a threat to our national security.  Religious tolerance in the U.S. was never intended to include a pathologically dangerous institution jeopardizing the very lives of non-followers. How long will we remain stupid?  Europe would do well to take steps to extract Sharia, though Europe has unfortunately succumbed to its influence in many areas.

We, of course, would be remiss to mention that Libya's fate was due in no small way because of Obama and Hillary Clinton -- oh yes, dame Hillary, who laughed after Qadaffi, Kadaffi or however the world spells the dictator's name, was cut down.  The Obama bunch was thrilled to topple Middle East dictators, apparently mentally pumped up with some moronic idea  that "the people" would carve out new governments.  Enter ISIS, end of that story.

Death by drones in the Middle East:    We must use drones as war continues, despite the risks.  The innocent are often war casualties because cowards use them as either hostages or fodder.  Given the choice between using drones are sending even more American youth to be killed or injured in zones of hostility, drones are the no-brainer solution until something even more effective comes along.  And it will.  And it has.

Ted Cruz looks impressive.  If anybody can instill pride and honor among our disenchanted Obama-era military, I think he's the man.  But watch the established Republican base go all-out to trash this eminently qualified presidential candidate as they strive to focus upon the same loser element currently serving to destroy the now-worthless Republican Party.  Remember, this time --

Hillary Clinton's anticipated fade:   May she soon retreat into history's dustbin, remembered only as Bill's wife -- a designation, by the way, which reflects honor on neither of these scoundrels.

Baltimore simmers.   The recipe remains true to form.   A black man dies while police are on the scene, then those wonderful, opportunistic pillars of the community, along with outsiders perpetually ready and able to move in, step up to burn buildings, break windows and loot, loot and loot some more -- all because they're so heartbroken over the demise of a peer.  In this case, as in others, the peer is also a thug with a long arrest record.  How did he die of a broken spinal cord?  Apparently, the mob doesn't care, its components intent only upon creating chaos, harming cops and stealing freebies from store owners who had nothing whatsoever to do with the suspect's death.  Mob actions are as predictable as a sunrise, and if not for the perfectly idiotic madam mayor of Baltimore, who actually spoke of giving the mobs space for their destructive tendencies (she should resign immediately), perhaps the National Guard would have been brought in to break heads long before Atlanta's finest ended up with broken bones and at least one coma.   If, as reports suggest, gangs are becoming involved in this calamity, intending to murder cops, the drug-funded gangs must be taken out first, as in "lights out."  We shudder at the prospect that our new attorney general, Eric Holder in female clothing, near as we can figure, will intervene and make things worse, goaded by Obama's consistently one-sided influence.  Meanwhile, all young members of the "black community" need do is tune in to the Internet, where a plethora of sites inciting cop murder and societal destruction abound.  And don't think for a moment that radical Islam Web sites aren't contributing a piece of this.  Amazing, isn't it, that this stuff always seems to happen in cities ruled and poisoned endlessly by Democrats?  They do black youth no favors, and it remains a tragedy that these young people have few options to realize that the real enemy lives among them, voted in over and over by desperate people who believe promises which were never intended to be kept.

The transgendered community:   Well, I remain fascinated by the article we quoted a few entries back, in which transgender surgery was portrayed as a disaster for many who experience its social aftershocks, and the revelation that power brokers in the transgender surgery industry go all out to quash public criticism is disturbing.  Nevertheless, we're all free to do as we wish as adults in this regard, like Bruce Jenner.

Sam's struggle with gender identity had engulfed his very being for decades, but at last he began the transgender process, emotionally prepared now for the surgical procedure which would finally and officially designate him as a woman.  Unfortunately, just as the process of change started to take less of a mental toll on Sam, he was bitten by a werewolf, and every night when the moon was full he changed and changed and changed and kept changing, from man to woman to wolf, to woman to wolf and to man, with no end in sight.  Upon further consultation with his psychiatrist and surgeon, Sam's medical professionals sympathetically agreed that the ultimate transformation would have to include not only women's attire, but quality dog food as well.  Sam may have become Samantha in transition, but Sam would also have to be content as Fido on those harried evenings when moonlight effected that other change.

Ben Affleck's Cotton Plantation

 Actor Ben Affleck does not own a slave-enhanced cotton plantation, though he may as well, in light of all the hoopla regarding his ancestry.   When the PBS TV program, "Finding Your Roots" researched Affleck's ancestry and discovered that his mother's history included a slave owner several generations back, Affleck asked that this little tidbit be omitted from the final edit.  The now Affleck-tarnished show yielded to Affleck's request, but the information went public anyway, causing a public relations stir, requiring the "embarrassed" Affleck to come forward and apologize for his attempt to time-machine historical fact.

Affleck's ill-fated attempt at historical erasure couldn't have come along at a better time, for among the wealthy and influential in our little American transformative oligarchy, we also have one Hillary Rodham Clinton, who famously attempted to shape-shift the truth via several statements recently -- her non-immigrant immigrant grandparents, for instance.  And Clinton is a woman who knows how to manipulate history with verve -- why have missing government property e-mails stinking up the house when you can just destroy the whole server?  Manipulate history to your liking.

I'm writing this a couple of days before a new episode of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" appears, so I've no idea what their writers plan for an opener.  But I have a pretty good feeling that they won't open the show with a satirical piece called "Ben Affleck's Cotton Plantation," because he's one of the "good guys," the same good-guy variety of which they fancy themselves.

Dr. Oz continues to be attacked by white-coat zombies among The Walking Med:  No sooner had Dr. Mehmet Oz defended himself against a herd of old medical cranks on his TV show Thursday, now a group of professionals from Oz's own Columbia University want him subdued.  For one thing, they complain that they are constantly spending time attempting to rebut his statements.  Well, too bad, that's their self-pity party.

Oz’s primary concern in this affair is his staunch opinion that foods produced via genetically modified organisms (GMOs) should be publicly labeled as such.  Conglomerate food entities, on the other hand, are strictly against the public’s right to know this little factoid – and millions of dollars have flowed and continue to flow to Congress to make sure they get their way.  If there was ever a case to be made for dropping lobbyists from tall buildings, this would appear a prime example.  The  oopsie  fear here is that we just don’t yet know the effects of GMOs on human health.

Oz has every right to express his views under the First Amendment, but one suspects his colleagues are a tad too consumed with jealousy or too boozed up with American Medical Association hocus-pocus to allow him to go gently into that good night of alternative medicine. 

That's long been a good question -- what makes the AMA or other medical organizations believe they've the right and responsibility to control doctors and guide everybody's health care?  And what has health care become?  Its progression has morphed the patient into a mere blood sample, a potted office plant whose general practitioner doctor is often forced to worship a computer screen, like it or not, bowing to numbers from the lab and required to honor the pharmaceutical corporate mentality by prescribing this toxin or that toxin.

In years past, I've seen older doctors on the verge of retirement, who opt to sit in their chairs and prescribe meds, barely interested in examining patients as individuals.  Then came a brief period of enlightenment when the doctor-patient relationship was popular and each listened to what the other had to say.  How times quickly changed!  Now, young doctors are educated in pleasing the drug companies first -- as nutritional education, the most essential knowledge of all, remains on the fringe.  So, we've come full circle --  from the old doc who lapses into little more than a drug pusher, to the bright young physician who, under corporate pressures involving big pharma, hospital administrations and other medical providers has been groomed to stick to one-size-fits-all lab work and perform fixes with poison pills and the like.  Yes, medications are important, but there's much to be said for the way medicine was practiced in days gone by -- and in other cultures around the world.

I vote for Dr. Oz and others who dare to be different by keeping us informed, because we've already seen instances of harm caused by doing everything by the damned book of regimentation encouraged through medical organizations and their paid-off buddies in Congress.  Our personal versions of health care should be our choice, even though choices always offer good and bad options.  It's your body and your family, folks, not theirs.

Michael Brown’s family sues everybody but the kitchen sink in Ferguson.  This is no surprise when you realize what kind of people you’re dealing with, and these folks are interesting.  Here, let me save the court costs – Brown was a thief, a bully and a thug who tried to murder the police officer who legally approached him.  Even Holder’s generally screwed up Dept. of Justice (when it comes to racial issues) was forced to admit it could find no fault on the officer’s part.  But the Brown family and its attorney, apparently born to litigate, are off and running.  When will we get around to charging the losers in frivolous lawsuits for all court costs?  Around the same time Congress tackles tort reform.

Go Hillary, go!   Go away, far, far, far away!  And take Jeb with you.
