Designated Survivors

When congressional officials attend such affairs as The State of the Union address or, as occurred a few days ago, presidential inauguration ceremonies, it has been customary for years to leave behind one member of Congress who would become the voice of presidential authority in the event of a fatal mass casualty event.  This person is known as the designated survivor.

"Designated survivor" seems to have acquired an additional definition this month, as of January one. With the exit of the despicable Biden gang and the entrance of Donald Trump, we have all become survivors, designated by all indications to regain shattered rights and respect for, rather than abject fear of, the federal government.

As Trump gave his first speech on Inauguration Day, the cowardly, self-serving (and treasonously manipulative?) Biden was arranging pardons for his family with only minutes to go in his role as President, lest any legal problems crop up in the future. These pardons, combined with other pre-emptive actions, bend the very option of legality to the mat, and we hope the courts will become involved and reverse this dangerous attempt to predict the future.  If a family member chose to commit murder a week from now, would the blanket pardon make prosecution impossible?  Various things coming to light now make me question whether the election of Biden four years ago might have been assisted by other factors.

Yes, Trump issued pardons as well, about 1,500 to the "J6" people ("hostages") in prison for storming the Capitol.  Isn't it about time?  Horror stories regarding prison conditions have leaked out little by little, and we're sure we will be bombarded with many more now.  When one learns that just one now-released prisoner from Florida was held for three years without so much as a bond, it's a little difficult to believe this is America.  When somebody is held in solitary confinement and deprived allegedly of even basic rights, we should be terrified.  When you arrest and convict a grandmother or others who just happened to be in the area -- and when you discover that certain prison areas were set aside JUST for Trump supporters -- questions must be answered in depth.  Behind much of this was Biden's helpers, devious and dangerous and often stupid in their actions, one and all, and in a fair and perfect world prison cells currently evacuated by J-sixers would be promptly filled by Biden administration personnel from numerous levels of the so-called people's government which thinking minds hope is never to return as the leftist rats' nest it was.

Hours after Biden left Washington for the last time as Chief Executive, I couldn't help but notice how Trump, after signing Executive Orders squashing Biden's own, graciously threw signing pen by signing pen out into the audience of his supporters, instead of awarding them to congressional representatives or dignitaries as they traditionally are.  To me, this small gesture said a lot about Trump's concern for the people he serves, people like us.  Yes, there fly a lot of theatrics in the land of Donald Trump, but he is a performer as well as President x2, and we're not likely to see another quite like him ever again.  That, for sure, accounts for the charm effect, like him or not.

Predictably, as Trump began signing Executive Orders generally intended to reverse Biden's disastrous instructions, his orders regarding illegal immigration and birthright citizenship attracted a waiting-line beehive of officials from at least 18 states, the ACLU, the ever-complicit legacy media and others intent upon fighting Trump in court (and here I stood, ready and willing to remove the anchors from anchor babies so they could float up and away, back over the border, never to return).

Seems to me, the 14th Amendment was intended to preserve and remove from question the citizenship of slaves living in and born in the United States, but the ACLU and other activists insist upon putting blinders on everybody and turning illegal into legal as they strangely embrace the sexual and invasive functions of those who come here against our laws and manage to drop infants like cockroaches in hopes of remaining forever.

This argument for birthright citizenship should have been put to bed by Congress long ago, but perhaps its ramifications will finally end up in cool deliberative hands when posed by Trump's government attorneys.  Or -- or maybe the quagmire will emerge to join the nearly impenetrable D.C. swamp.

Meanwhile, it's just so incredible, yet not out of character, that the leftist-activist mainstream media went right back to exercising the only worthless skill at which they excel:  Attacking Trump.  Both this entity and the extremist Democrats they serve, nation destroyers one and all, just don't get it.  Their time is over and most Americans demonstrated through November's popular vote that a vast majority have had enough of their lies, censorship and efforts to put illegal aliens (that means criminals, mamma) on pedestals with more rights than imaginable, while slickly demoting average Americans who may as well have become denizens of some Third World fantasy under authoritarian Democrat rule.  Enough!

While the rest of Trump's Executive Orders are enticing and necessary, I'm sure a significant population is more interested in his promise to release the secret government JFK files.  Really, I'm pretty much done with President JFK, great though he was, but I'd much rather have a huge release of UFO information -- the hardcore stuff, not the cow chips.
