 Squeaker of the House

Watching 20 House representatives raise hell over rule changes and the man intended to enforce them -- Kevin McCarthy -- was one of the most refreshing congressional displays in memory.  Witnessing Matt Gaetz apparently getting into a near-physical confrontation with at least one fellow congressman was worth the viewing.  In stark contrast to the Democrats who generally acted like Star Trek's Borg as they accomplished Nancy Pelosi's queen bee-and-her-hive authoritarian leadership, on display this time was America's House as it was intended with debate and disagreement.  The outrage exhibited by some Democrats over those five days of upset and wrangling probably occurred primarily because those on the left wouldn't know how to deviate from established rule if their constituents' lives were dependent upon their doing so.  What the Republican House just experienced via the conservative and Freedom Caucus branch was nothing short of exactly the way American government is supposed to function, and the left doesn't like it a bit.

The January 6 commemorative Biden shindig:  That's right, it was a photo op, all about the riot described falsely by Democrats as an armed insurrection.  Too bad they didn't at least apologize for shooting the unarmed military veteran Ashli Babbitt dead (https://www.judicialwatch.org/ashli-babbitt-update/ ) as she was likely pushed into the Capitol building. Extra shameful that the podium was used to ignore the fact that police officer Sitnick was NOT bashed in the head with a fire extinguisher -- and, in fact, he died the next day of a stroke  having no direct connection to January 6.  The left will always lie to suit their purposes, and they will never cease feeding their true believers dog poop cake topped with tasty agenda-infested glitter frosting expressive of how they wish things to be.

Many questions remain about exactly who participated in ramping things up on January 6.  If you think Twitter's cozy censoring relationship with Twitter was dangerous, be sure to stay in touch with the site Revolver (see link) because they are hot onto a potential FBI connection.  The new House Republicans must get a handle on the Dept. of Justice and FBI because activities seem to be extraordinarily out of control as we as Americans find our watchdog agencies weaponized against us.  This is both frightening and angering.  It's outrageous enough that major TV network news programs are merely mouthpieces for government propaganda.

Something else for the new House to investigate:  That Dr. Fauci and Dr. Collins seemed quite influential in asking Twitter to censor other physicians' opinions and research contrary to their own comments.  Just absurd, so grievous.

Brazil Elections:  If there is any connection to our January 6, it's that nobody wants socialism.  We in the USA don't, either, but we're sure getting it.

Hamlin and football:  We're all glad he's doing well, but he isn't Jesus Christ.  Obviously, the media, which can't bother to give us the real news, hooked on to something emotional and worthy of little more than newsstand tabloids -- but it whisks them away from reporting on uncomfortable issues with leftist causation.  Every day, people all over the world suffer cardiac issues of all varieties and make no news at all, but let an athlete obviously aware of dangers on the field experience a calamity and one would think the world had almost ended.  And, yes, the crowd went wild. . .

Six-shooter (literally):  In this case, the shooter was a Virginia six-year-old who blew a hole in his teacher with a hand gun.  Sure would love to see what was raising him at home, and whether there were two parents in his life.  "Blame the gun, not the child" can be the new mantra among the always irrational, yet opportunistic left.

Killer Klimate Klowns From Planet Earth:  As parts of the country became overwhelmed by snow and cold a few days ago, it should have become clear that the world elitists' plans to combat "climate change" is literally a death sentence for millions of people.  Following is an e-mail I dispatched to New York's governor and other legislators after the state's Climate Action Council released a final list of climate actions which can only spell doom if activated:

How is it that a NY governor who detests one's personal firearm liberties so intensely is poised to break down our front doors using her new Climate Action Council report as a potential battering ram which subjects us to a deadly game of energy Russian Roulette?  In case nobody noticed, the extreme weather event ("storm of the century") that just conquered much of the country, and certainly New York, could have claimed hundreds of thousands or millions of lives had the Council's absurd recommendations already been in force. The truth is, we do not and will not for at least decades have the electrical energy required to replace a "fossil fuel" lifestyle -- unless newer, safer nuclear power plants are part of the equation, or perhaps everybody's fantasy, helium 3 can be extracted from the moon before China grabs it all. Toxic solar panels and landfill-unfriendly wind turbines already ruining the landscape are already obsolete. The first outrage perpetrated by climate change proponents was to ignore a wealth of scientists on the other side whose purposefully ignored voices were never even heard on Twitter or other popular media. Instead of condemning CO2, nitrogen fertilizer and cow flatulence, activities on the sun might be a little more appropriate to the current status of our ever-changing climate (check out the science of the solar minimum, for one).  Were I among the chronically neurotic, almost cult-religious worriers over climate and the proper shade of green, I think I might be a bit more concerned about Fentanyl and invasive conquests occurring at the borders.  Had the CAC's fantastic and generally unaffordable recommendations and other government directives devoid of a suitable energy backup plan been in effect as the current weather disaster unfolded, resulting in unimaginable numbers of deaths, myriad charges of criminally negligent homicide surely could have been brought against officials at all levels. This is the future some in power never intended or expected to contemplate, now planted firmly at their doorsteps.  So now what?

We can only hope that somewhere in government there are adults with functioning brains in charge of the future, but I tend to have bleak reservations about that.  A new House of Representatives?  Watch the leftist Senate and corrupt President (who already deserve prison sentences for ignoring national security, their first priority) shoot down every reasonable proposal they submit.
