Ben Dover's Hope & Change

Ben Dover is a nice name.  Well, it's nice until you realize that the shirt worn by the anonymous young man in this well-traveled Internet photo isn't quite what it appears at first glance.  Then again, neither were hope and change.

No giant doses of paranoia straight from the bottle today -- I just thought posting this old Web photo would make a point.  In a world and country torn apart, in large measure, because of both elected and non-elected manipulative government officials and criminals in high places, who may yet face lengthy prison sentences one day when rational thought attempts a comeback, Ben Dover describes our situation perfectly.  Who are you?  Ben Dover.  Who can explain the decline of our  rights and liberties?  Ben Dover.  When will we actually see hope and change?  Hope and change are already here, Ben Dover.

Rise of the Obliterators

Leave it to President Obama to blame the intelligence community for failing to alert him to the dangerous materialization and approach of Iraq's fresh hell called ISIS.  Since when has he ever taken responsibility for anything on his watch?  Even Hillary Clinton now criticizes Professor Obama's foreign policy -- not, however, taking the time to outline her own complicity and misguided actions which helped to set the Middle East ablaze politically and militarily.  But one can't really let trivialities get in the way when a presidential bid hovers just offstage, can one?

The extra bonus hell is that representatives of radical, irrational and throwback Islam likely reside right here in the USA like serpents in wait, just as they do in many other countries, and while your kids, nieces, nephews and grand kids have their brains all wrapped up in the latest electronics, sports, TV shows and teen heartthrob videos, ISSA's friends are gearing up to build a new caliphate using those potentially dead young bodies as landfill.  Now that our Southern border features an invisible, though somehow colorful welcome mat in place, even Muslim prayer rugs have shown up among discarded items, and we can only assume the worst as both drug gangs and jihad psycho jobbers no doubt continue their journeys north.

As heads in Iraq roll (literally), sacrificed by the blade, and Christians and the faithful of other religions are either tortured and shot above ground or buried alive in unimaginable horror below the surface, there is little for the world to do but wipe ISIS off the face of the Earth, even as, unfortunately, other sects of crazy Islam move in to assume a role.

The great Obama, master of illusional and delusional decisions, cannot easily back out of this situation, neither by continuing to blame George Bush, nor by claiming ignorance -- for it was his constant call to get out and stay out of Iraq completely, and it was he who claimed peace had befallen that country and it was truly free.  Surely, intelligence agencies must, by now, be tired to death of taking the hit every time Obama and co. blunder and need a whipping object to place before their (up to now, at least) forgiving and accommodating same-minded media darlings.

Meanwhile, in addition to those troublesome victims of ISIS mass murder in the Middle East, we have ISIS destroying history as effectively as Al Qaeda and the Taliban ever did, and if the very concept of book-burning thrills some to the bone, the methods of destruction radical Islam's obliterators plan for the United States should create a gigantic warning shiver throughout the land.

So, the police are overwhelmed, the military is downsized and essentially, absurdly, instructed to be more understanding and a bit more feminine -- and a lot kinder toward the religion of peace that really isn't a religion of peace, depending upon one's interpretation (tell me again -- why hasn't the Fort Hood jihad murderer Major Hasan been executed yet so he can live in Eternity with 37 old male virgins?).  What to do when love isn't the answer?  Don't ask the academics currently enjoying a second term White House sit-in.

I suspect a militia movement is growing all over the country, armed to the teeth, with multiple players involved, and I really don't want to reach a point where I have to determine whether that's a good or bad thing, or choose sides.

Bits and Pieces for August 2014

There is but one thing to be done, though how difficult!
The foolish must become wise -- and that they can never be.
The value of life they never know;
they see with the outer eye, but never with the mind,
and praise the trivial because the good is strange to them.

(quoting Arthur Schopenhauer, translated by T. Bailey Saunders)

As corporations and people in the United States have endured to the max over-taxation and government regulation pushing them down them like a giant corkscrew, U.S. officials strive to make it more difficult for the burdened to escape the claws of bureaucratic oppression, in search of nations of residence elsewhere, all the while waving flags and pretending to be all-American protectors.  Instead of reforming taxes and regulations, we have a government bent more toward ever more control, all nicely, patriotically -- dangerously and erroneously -- wrapped in the flag, so as to drown out protests from "un-American" citizens.  Why would socialists and new Nazis  not  clamor to get a piece of this action?  Government agencies and personnel dedicated to the weakening and destruction of even more American values deserve, perhaps, Christmas gifts of African fruit bats.  Cute little devils. . .

The world's public relations firms go nuts:  News reports recently named several powerful and influential PR firms whose officials will no longer accept clients which deny climate change.  What?  What?  I think we can all agree that the climate constantly changes, but these opinion-shifters apparently reference the ridiculous computer model stuff which declares us in utter chaos soon.  This is all so reminiscent of newspapers and magazines which ran  UFO stories only if they were humorous or absurd; taking such things seriously was forbidden on many an editor's desk.  PR corporations, probably unrealized even by themselves, are taking the same approach, closing their minds and embracing the assumed, unproven and nonsensical over the rational and open-minded, perhaps in order to satisfy the public sheep herds and/or some internal corporate mentality masturbation fantasy in the flawed science boardroom.  Go figure.

Where did the boys go?  Yes, I know this is the era of women and girls and this minority and that minority, but what's going on with young men lately?  Maybe it's just me, but almost every time I watch a TV news or feature story or commercial, or happen upon something in a magazine, one would think either that boys are the new silent minority or their numbers are becoming extinct, as those of the female gender gain considerably more attention.  Just an opinion here, but I wonder if boys of all ages aren't being purposefully ignored or shut out of various situations in order to enhance the existence of other folks?  The realization that far more women now often attend universities than men appears both hopeful and troubling to me.  Of course, there are  feminists who wish males would disappear from the face of the planet altogether, but that's a different story. . .

Speaking of men and boys, I'm going to miss you, Gary McKinnon:  Computer Weekly.com (July 29) reports that England's notorious hacker of American government sites, an innocent boy just innocently looking for innocent evidence of UFOs, has assumed a career as an online search expert.  Now that he's won his 10-year legal fight against extradition to the USA, where officials anxiously anticipated encounters just short of awarding him gift certificates to the waterboard spa, McKinnon's new duties include working his magic on web sites to improve their ranking on search engines.  As far as that hackneyed old thing about busting into U.S. military computers (proving, sorry to say, that young Gary demonstrated ingenuity "they" didn't have -- that is, he hacked what they lacked. . .), as I've written previously, I looked forward to McKinnon's guest visit to the United States, and additionally advised that he shine his shoes to appear top-notch upon arrival in the court system.  Sadly, I and the American media shall be deprived, forcing our attention back to the never-ending pseudo-journalistic hell known as  Kardashianism.

What's disturbing?  The tendency of the White House and other government institutions to assure that a third person (a "minder") accompanies officials interviewed by journalists.  This "third wheel" remains in the background, but monitors admissions and/or assists with providing the "correct" words and information dispensed by the interviewee.  The gov will claims that these folks are present just to assure accuracy of reporting, but the rational among us might wish to use the word,  spy.   Big Brother is just the title of a TV show, right?  Sure am glad the White House employs a battery of psychologists so we'll know what and how to think.  They must be of tremendous benefit to the whistle blower mentality.

High-tech investor Elon Musk suggests in Business Insider that artificial intelligence may well become The Terminator if not carefully watched.  Insignificant me? At a certain point, I doubt that watching will solve any such  impending disaster.  It's gonna be digital doom for sure, unless the computer is sacrificed for something radically different, so different that the word,  computer  bears no relationship whatsoever to the alternative.

White House Kills

Our borders are stuck open as if with a giant doorstop, but alleged government leadership cares not.  President Ebola  Obola Eboma Obama could easily have secured most, if not all, border entry points almost overnight, but he chose to ignore the crisis both for political reasons as well as, it appears, for pursuit of something more than party politics. As the border hemorrhages, so goes the nation, flooded by illegal individuals of young and older ages, born of countries far away.  Sometimes very, very far away.  Assimilation is the last thing on their minds.

Blame extends throughout the political rats' nests of Washington, but fingers can easily be pointed first at the White House, where already established immigration laws are ignored wholesale.  This is nothing less than criminal in practice.

Yes, there are killers in the White House -- killers of real hope and opportunity, killers of the American spirit, killers of the individual's pursuit of happiness and attempts to innovate without government interference.

Regarding the Southern border, it's numbers of people, not people as individuals, storming in, bringing with this locust invasion diseases, ignorance, no skills, non-English speaking youth and, worst of all, unyielding masses of humanity merely seeking free stuff.  Our stuff.  Free education, free housing, free living.  Adults and children have heard the call, and the call from Obama's specifically directional megaphone echoed masked words of come and get it.

Speaker John Boehner says impeachment of Mr. Obama is off the table.  Methinks  Mr. Speaker needs to procure a new table and seriously consider changing his words, even if that doesn't occur until after the November elections.  The people who should and could restrain this president are clearly the Democrats, but they aren't touching this lawless Administration with a ten-foot golf club.  They're having too much fun basking in expectations, rational or not, of future voting blocks suggesting  all Democrat, all the time.  Apparently,  blue dog  Democrats who wouldn't stand one moment for the lawlessness in this White House have all gone on to their eternal reward and disappeared from the Earth's face.  Pity.  Tragic, really.

Self-appointed diplomat Robert wishes to apologize to Israel for my government's condemnation of Israel for the latest bombing of a United Nations building in Gaza.  Well, you know, s*** happens, and the oft-ignored fact that the Palestinian people chose Hamas to provide security is hardly insignificant.  If my neighbors consistently lobbed rockets at me, I doubt I'd chalk it up to terrorists will be terrorists and return to my crossword puzzle without a response.  Yep, a good many Palestinians want no part of the violence, and it's no secret that a respectable number of them can get along just fine with Israel, but until Hamas (and Hezbollah and other Muslim Brotherhood parasitic lice infestations) experience utter destruction, Israel will continue blowing up tunnels and killing its enemies.  Go for it, Israel, and if the damned useless U.N. gets in the way, well, as we said, s*** happens.

The Southern U.S. border needs quick and concerted attention, and that means getting these well-organized gangs of "children" and adults out of here quickly.  We have laws on the books now, so use them.  President Obama has neglected to protect Americans by failing -- willingly -- to secure the border.  From coast to coast, our very existence as a nation and our lives are in more jeopardy than ever because the borders are virtually open both to terrorists and the concealed weaponry of their choice.  For the current White House bunch, and we're not forgetting Eric Holder and we're not forgetting the ill-named Homeland Security, impeachment must be an option in the road ahead, and trials and prison most assuredly should be an option in some circumstances.  It's high time to dust off the old books and re-familiarize the courts with terms such as tyranny, tyrants and treason.  One need only listen to law enforcement personnel and others in the legal system whose voices have grown weary of open-ended lawlessness exhibited without consequence in high places.  The status quo will not endure, Nancy Pelosi.  Reacquaint yourself with reality, Harry Reid.  Will Democrats continue to pursue banana republic status for the United States in conjunction with labor unions and other socialist entities?  Will Republicans persist in digging their own grave as the party carelessly sits on a hamster wheel ride to nowhere?  Good luck, Tea Party, Independent and Libertarian voters, you'll need it.

We Did Not Elect the United Nations as Our President

Now and then, I donate money to a chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), but considering the state of the world, I'm sorely tempted to reconsider. Perhaps instead I'll start donating to some international organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and return to the wild of animals born to kill and eat humans.  Anyway, let's get on with the rest. . .

Yes, I did think about UFOs the other day when I heard an old Ray Stevens comedy song entitled, "The Great Mississippi Squirrel Revival," and lyrics (repeated several times) place the location as a Baptist church in Pascagoula -- home, of course, to the alleged Hickson-Parker UFO abduction. . .and make no mistake, as I've written on previous occasions, the Hickson-Parker case is a favorite for me, and even the late UFO-"picky" national radio commentator Paul Harvey gave this one a fair airing coast to coast on a Saturday morning.  Bizarre, yet somehow vital to learn more about -- and apparently well-witnessed at various interludes as an airliner-sized object descended to an area where two fishermen ended up as the "catch."  Something's catch.  And still the world sleeps on. . .

Wow, try to follow this:  A Philadelphia psychiatrist, licensed to prescribe psychotropic drugs, shot an illegally armed mental patient apparently intent upon pursuing a murderous rampage, and either was or was not on drugs, with a gun he, the doc, wasn't supposed to be carrying in a hospital, but everybody's glad he did because he probably saved lives by bringing the crazed shooter's violence to an end just after a co-worker was shot dead by the madman.  I anticipate that the nation's wussies, who would rather die than fight, will blame this successful outcome on the NRA, and call for the implementation of an organization like Doctors Without Borders, except this one shall be called Doctors Without Guns.  How dare any Constitution-loving American ever attempt engaging in self-defense?  The very idea!  And doctors?  Every physician worth his  sphygmomanometer knows that nothing beats the threat of gunfire like a No. 15 blade scalpel held at arm's length in a threatening or surgical manner.  Everybody knows that.

Barack and Hillary's excellent misadventure:  "We came, we saw, he died."  Yes, Hillary, Libya's dictator, like Egypt's dictator, is gone, way, way gone, and as we take a good, close look at everything you and the boss did to help along that aptly-named Arab Spring, it's painfully obvious that you folks own no small responsibility for the human firestorm continuing to rage from country to country, having repaired not one damned thing.  Hillary Clinton has moved on to other matters, but her actions and words remain behind to soothe a new Middle East, particularly that of this Administration's making.  We long ago forgot about "the shores of Tripoli," but as (for a change) well-planned mass evacuations of U.S. personnel took place in Libya, surely some during departure had visions of whistling through the darkness of Benghazi's ghost yard.

WARNING!  WARNING WORLD ROBINSON!   Professor Obama too often seems to consider America the United Nation's personal concubine.  That's why I shake with some trepidation, waiting for this increasingly predictable dolt/non-dolt to make a pronouncement that, shucks, the Southern border intruders from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador (transported with Mexican cooperation, thanks a lot) aren't illegal at all, they're actually refugees -- and that's exactly the fateful word those manipulative U.N. bastards will prod him to use, as La Raza  ("The Race") and others who are plainly racists in their own right continue their push to legalize one particular group of people on this side of our border -- no matter what.  Then comes the dreaded Executive Order.  At that point, Congress will have no other choice but to impeach or take some legal action against this president, and I suggest they aim high for established law-based justice, not the "social justice" familiar to the president's progressive and community-organizing comrades.

Meanwhile, the Israel and Hamas musical chairs cease-fire (party off, party on. . .) continues.  Silly Israel -- don't they realize that those tunnels from the Palestinian side were actually intended merely to shuttle radical Muslim comedians, bawdy song singers, nude female dancers and Hamas go-go boys, other entertainers and members of the Palestine National Women's Synchronized Swimming Team to the Israeli side to provide a few laughs?  Hey, anybody can misplace missiles and bombs in tunnels, or in schools -- I think we've all done that at one time or another, right?

TV news on the national networks has become mortifyingly sucky.  Save yourself, David Muir and others, before it's too late!  There's just gotta be pod people conversions of good reporters at the major networks -- there's no other rational explanation for a nightly fascination with human interest crap-o-rama and little in the way of actual  n-e-w-s, as the world burns hotter and brighter than even the networks let on.  IMHO.
